Elias, the guitarist of Sonata Arctica, posted a picture of the two artworks I gave and did of him! (the big one 'I'm smiling' and the little blue portrait) I think he's happy (and me too).
I arrived at the Metropolis around 9h50 a.m. Most of us had a day off because it was the first monday of september (it's called 'la fête du travail' in french). We have waited, and waited, and waited... until Henkka got off the bus. It was around 12h30 p.m. He went directly in the Metropolis but we went to him when he wanted to return to the bus. Then my turn to talk to him. I said: ' I don't want any autographs or anything'...
-'Ah, really? Okay! (makes a sign that he'll leave)'
(we all laughed)
- 'I have this for you, though'.
You should have seen his face. Priceless! XD ''Oooohhh nice!''
I don't remember who was the second one I've talked to; all I know is that I gave every portrait to personally each of them and they all did a smile. Even Marko.
* In black and white
* Paid in full
* White pearls, black oceans
* It won't fade
* Draw me
* Don't say a word (did not last the song in the first row)
* The cage + Vodka's song
It was short, but freakin' amazing. It was less movemented than last time, in the first row, but it was very nice in overall.
After the show, me and some friends went to talk to Tony. We had a conversation up to 20 minutes! It was very cool having this privilege. I got the chance to finally tell him how much Sonata Arctica has an influence in my life and that their band means everything to me. And I finally had my hug. I showed him the tattoos I did for Sonata and he quickly got his digital camera and said: 'I wanna take a picture!' He really liked the wolf tattoo. It was then around 12h35 a.m.; I had to go if I didn't want to miss the last bus going to Châteauguay and Tony was pressing me to go! ''Go, you're going to miss it!'' And I replied: ''Aww, I don't care! I wanna stay here!'' And he did a weird smile. Ahah! Then we finally go that some fantards yelled at Tony. That's funny how we were more than these fantards yet we were more civilized. We talked to him. We never yelled. Meh. Fantards.
I also bought two nice t-shirts from the band and I've got the chance to take a good conversation with Katrina, the woman in charge of selling the t-shirts. I was kinda scared at first to tell Tony about my feelings, since I was alone and that I'm afraid of men, and I told her. She looked at me all surprised and said: ''Go tell them! They're really nice guys! You have to!'' Then I told her I gave them portraits and she immediatly replied: ''OH!!! You're the one who did the drawings!!!
...
You don't know how this sentence meant everything to me. It was a like a personal success.
Then she gave me her Myspace's adress. Ahah! ''Add me, honey!''
It was the most beautiful day of my life.
